Darkness & Light Exhibition 2024
April 5th - April 27th, 2024
Darkness & Light was a two part collaborative exhibition between the Strand Center for the Arts and SUNY Plattsburgh to celebrate the 2024 eclipse. The Darkness theme was exhibited at the Strand Center for the Arts Gallery and the Light theme was exhibited in the Feinberg Library at SUNY Plattsburgh.
Not all of the artworks displayed in the spaces were directly related to the eclipse or celestial in nature. Rather, pieces reflected the artists’ own interpretations of the themes of “Darkness” and “Light.” Thus, this exhibition showcased a diverse variety of artistic mediums and subject matter.
