  • Clay Studio Manager

    Flexible Part-Time (20-25 hours/week)
    $17-$19/hour

    The Clay Studio Manager is a part-time position responsible for managing the administrative and operational functions of the Strand’s Clay Studio with a particular focus on the advancement of safety, equipment, facilities, and culture in the Clay Studio. The Clay Studio Manager serves as a comprehensive expert within the field of clay and works with all members and students within the studio to ensure safe, effective, and advanced practices. This position oversees the operations and maintenance of the Clay Studio, including kilns, wheels, slab roller, extruder, and glaze areas, ensuring that all equipment functions effectively and safely, the facilities are clean and efficient, procuring all supplies and materials as needed. This individual is a highly capable multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
