Join Our Team

The Strand Center for the Arts is strongly dedicated to the pursuit of inclusive excellence and diversity. We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from women, minorities, people with disabilities, and veterans.

At the Strand Center for the Arts we are always eager to add new classes. If you are interested in teaching a class and have a great suggestion/idea, then call us at 518.563.1604 and ask to speak to Mallory Valk, our Artistic Programming Director or email Teaching an art class is also a terrific way for recent graduates to obtain teaching experience!

There are many opportunities to volunteer. We need people to help with our front desk, building maintenance, mailings, assisting in classrooms and more.
